The Clayton Aquatics & Health Club, the Monash Aquatic & Recreation Centre in Glen Waverley and the Oakleigh Recreation Centre offer the Council’s 176,000 residents and those of nearby municipalities’ state of the art recreational facilities and an array of pools to improve community health and activity.

The centres have been deliberately designed to complement one another and maximise their appeal to all sections of the Monash and wider community. The community has embraced the three Council-operated leisure centres as multi-purpose recreational facilities and meeting places.

The three centres have something to appeal to all ages and abilities. From learn to swim lessons or splash play areas for young children, Victoria’s largest wave pool and court sports for teenagers, hydrotherapy and fitness programs tailored for older adults there are health, fitness, well being and recreational opportunities for the whole community.

With almost 1.4 million annual attendances these popular facilities are widely used by the local and regional community. Professional and qualified staff deliver a diverse range of programs and services including basketball, futsal, volleyball and netball competitions, adult and children’s swimming and water safety lessons, health club memberships, personal training, crèche services, group exercise, aqua aerobics, massage, chiropractic services and the list goes on and on.
